From Discover Scuba to PADI Open Water

Some time ago, we had a booking through our website for a young guy from Hong Kong, Kelvin. He had never dived before but he decided to try it due to his uncle being a qualified diver and always raving about how much fun diving could be. So, Kelvin booked a PADI Discover Scuba Dive Course with us and did very well. He was quiet and, despite leaving us a very good review on Trip Advisor, he enjoyed the introduction to scuba diving much more than we realised. In fact, he went back home and signed up for the PADI Open Water Diver Course in Hong Kong.

Recently, he came back for a trip to Pattaya and booked a fun diving trip with us. We were quite impressed when we picked him up as he had already bought all his own diving gear. It was all brand new and he couldn’t wait to put it together and try it out. Unfortunately, one of the buckles on his fins broke, but Steve came to the rescue and managed to find a similar fitting for the clip on the fin strap, so at least he managed to dive with his own fins too.

We often tell people who try diving for the first time, if you really enjoyed the experience, then why not take it to the next level and do your PADI Open Water Course, just go for it and you too can enjoy recreational diving while you are on your on travels in Pattaya, Thailand….or many of the other places you can dive in the world.
