PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course
Now that you are already a qualified diver, perhaps you want to improve and expand on your diving skills and knowledge. The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course can help you to progress a step closer to becoming a more professional diver. There are lots of dive sites around the world, including wreck dives, which require you to be Advanced Diver level. This is because your Open Water Certificate allows you to go to a maximum depth of 18 meters, unlike the Advanced, which takes you to another level of diving. The Advanced Open Water Diver Course is described by PADI, as refining your previously learnt skills, allowing the diver to explore a broader variety of diving to a maximum of 30 meters.
This course will not only further your experience and help build your confidence underwater, but also help you to practice what you already know. We can help to make your diving easier by spending some time on your buoyancy control, consequently making you more stable in the water. You will do a deep dive as well as an underwater navigation dive – these parts of the course are mandatory.
The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course takes two days of diving in the ocean to complete. You will need to finish the knowledge reviews in the PADI manual, but only the sections that are relevant to your course. Your instructor will discuss this with you. At the end of the course, you will be certified to dive up to 30m and, just like all the other PADI certifications, this can be used anywhere in the world.
