We would like to congratulate our recently qualified PADI Open Water Divers. One was a 10 year old Korean boy, Alex. He did his Junior Open Water. The language was a little bit difficult to overcome as he studied all the PADI Open Water materials in English and his mother couldn't help him as her English is not as good as his. He took an extra day in the ocean and spent some extra time on his knowledge reviews, but he got throught to his PADI Junior Open Water with the extra effort.
Another student was Ibrahim from Iran. He called us and asked if it was possible to start his PADI Open Water Course the very next day, but he only had 3 days to complete everything. We went to visit him at his accommodation in Pattaya and explained to him some insights of the diving course so he would know what to expect. Again, he chose to study the PADI materials in English. As he was a very enthusiastic university lecturer, his intelligence and willingness to learn did him proud. He did his classroom theory on Monday morning, then all his swimming pool training in the afternoon. The following two days were his Open Water Dives on the boat. The instructor commented that he was a very good student and it was a pleasure to take care of him.
So, congratulations to those particular students as well as the others that have taken the plunge and completed their PADI diving courses. Don't let your diving adventures end there - keep diving and stay safe!
